I have worked in the oil industry for 23 years and have been involved in various aspects of subsea installation for both shallow and deep water projects. I have experience in working on diving and diverless projects from the tender stage through to onshore engineering and subsequent offshore installation for various workscopes, these have included:-Umbilical lay; Flexible lay (Procurement & Installation) ;Control system installation (SCM’s, control jumpers etc);Spool Design and Installation (including Fabrication); Mooring system installation and replacement;Riser clamp installation (Fabrication & Installation); Flexible Riser installation (Procurement & Installation); Inspection Repair and Maintenance (IRM) operations;Manifold (Design, Fabrication & Installation); Rigid Pipe Reel Lay - Pipe in Pipe (Design, Procurement, Fabrication & Installation);My present responsibilities involve the management of a Project Team carrying out subsea construction activities. This includes, design review, safety reviews, equipment specification, procurement and subcontractor management (both for Diver and ROV intervention).My interests outside of work are wide and varied, these include, being a member of the Scout Association (leader), Mountain Biking and Mountain Bike Trail Conservation.
