My main role is the day to day running of the service labs at Hytera UK. The service labs take care of the repairs, spares and front line technical support for PMR and communication technologies.Since Joining Hytera as Service manager, I have brought together a really strong team, currently delivering best-in-class TATs (turnaround times) with a 5-day service for the UK, Europe, and Scandinavia regions. Hytera is a B-to-B sales subsidiary business model with a knowledgeable customer base, in DMR and Tetra two-way radio systems and LTE multimode. Service is a busy and fast-moving department carrying out repairs, firmware upgrades and customer requests.Hytera UK -Hytera Communications Corporation Limited is a leading global provider of Professional Mobile Radio communications equipment and solutions. • Traveling to visit potential and existing UK and export dealers/distributors in support of the sales team; • Establishing new, and maintaining existing, long-term relationships with customers though product training and support; • Managing and interpreting customer requirements - listening to customers and using astute questioning to understand, anticipate and exceed their needs; • Persuading dealers that a product or service will best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery; • Offering after-sales support services; • Administering customer accounts and solving customer problems; • Searching for new OEM products that would benefit the company portfolio or services and maximising customer potential in designated regions; • Preparing reports for head office, Co-ordinating sales and marketing projects; • Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events; • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet customer needs; • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product training; • Liaising between other members of the sales team, the factory and HQ R&D;

I also passed C&G 244 parts 1 and 2 Electronic Servicing. Experience was given in wiring, Microwave technology PCB assembly, wiring looms, QA and inspection.• Worked on tornado project from 1987 to 1989.
