Key Achievements:Lead developer on HSBC's Faster Payments Bill Payment system. This project had a budget of £5 million pounds. Instrumental in delivering a quality IT system in 2008. Led a team of onshore and offshore developers and supported all levels of internal and external testing. Provided implementation support and ensured the system maintained an excellent level of service to users and customers alike.

Standing Orders and Direct Debits rewrite project. This system went live in 2005 and involved replacing the existing system with a newer system based on new business requirements and updated processing. This project was one of the first to use offshore resource. Helped establish new working processes to support the offshore engagement. Tasks included ensuring quality deliverables were delivered from the offshore team, supported all levels of testing including managing the System Testing team for six months and ensured that a successful implementation was achieved. Continued to provide maintenance and live support for the system and was the subject matter expert for many years. At the time there were 57 million mandates in the system and over £2 billion pounds of direct debit payments were made on the busiest day of the month.Lead technical developer on HSBC's Direct Debit Utility project. This project was successfully delivered in 2002 and provided a Direct Debit Originator capability for HSBC. Led a team of four developers who were responsible for the technical design and development build of the system. Continued to provide maintenance and live support for the system and was the subject matter expert for many years.Senior Developer on HSBC's Bill Payments system. Over £300 million pounds of payments were made on the busiest day of each month. Initial implementation was in 1998. Further phases followed in 1999 and 2000. Primary involvement at the time was technical design and development build. Later moved on to functional aspects of the system and was responsible for the maintenance and live support of the system. Subject matter expert for many years.
