Built a press function from the ground up at the Early Intervention Foundation, and led on all press activity. Tasks included reporting weekly to the CEO, monthly reports to senior management team, working across internal teams, forming relationships with national and sector journalists, internal press training, creating content, commissioning and designing surveys, developing positions on issues, providing or commissioning training to executives and laid over the top of all this I created the organisation's first ever press strategy.Outcomes from this: increased coverage by 185% from 2019 to 2020, and a further 21% from 2020 to 2021, with a large amount of the coverage being proactively driven, with significant focus on strategically important topics like domestic abuse and mental health.
