Well-versed financial executive whose experience spans mergers & acquisitions; investor relations; FP&A; global tax and treasury management; SEC reporting and taking companies public via a SPAC and a carve-out. Has served in multiple enterprise leadership roles across the globe, heading up teams 300-plus member teams for Fortune 500, small cap and private equity companies alike. His expertise covers various industries including consumer goods, packaging, and pharmaceuticals. Rusie was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Old World Industries in 2021 after serving as CFO of Whole Earth Brands where he took the company public in June 2020 via a SPAC. In his time at Whole Earth Brands, he helped unveil a robust acquisition strategy, substantially increased sell-side analyst coverage and implemented SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley capabilities. After beginning his career at Ernst & Young, Rusie spent most of his career at Mead Johnson Nutrition, a $4 billion global leader in infant nutrition, where he served in a number of finance leadership roles across the organization in China, Southeast Asia, Latin America and Europe during his tenure. In 2017, he led the global, cross-functional integration that accompanied Reckitt Benckiser’s $17 billion acquisition of the company and was later named global CFO of the Mead Johnson business unit. Rusie is a CPA and has served as a board member of the American Chamber of Commerce in South China since 2013.
