With over 12 years of experience in the disability sector, I am passionate about empowering people with disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives. As a Behavioural Support Coordinator at Embrace Wigan and Leigh, I provide person-centred and positive behaviour support to individuals and families across the borough. I also coordinate the delivery of training, workshops, and events to raise awareness and promote inclusion in the community. Previously, I was the Centre Manager at Hop Skip & Jump Foundation, where I oversaw the daily operations and quality of care of a respite centre for children and young adults with disabilities and complex needs. I managed a staff team, developed and implemented policies and procedures, and liaised with external agencies and stakeholders. I am always eager to learn new skills and collaborate with others who share my vision of creating a more inclusive and accessible society for people with disabilities.
