Assisting organisations with their ISO 27001 information security programmes including, internal audits and recertification visits.Assisting with ISO 9001 and quality management systems.Conducting compliance assurance audit programmes to identify areas of continual improvement and best practice. Reviewing office manuals and working practices to suggest areas they can be streamlined and improved.Conducting reviews of AML programmes including audits of client due diligence and know your client evidence.Helping a variety of organisations with their data protection and GDPR projects to get them ready for the introduction of the regulation.

Identifying and analysing areas of potential operational and regulatory risk that may expose the firm to regulatory censure, loss of earnings or damage to the firms reputation.Assisting with the development and support the delivery of regulatory risk management objectives and initiatives within the firm. This includes the form of the SRA change from rules based regulation to outcome focused regulation.

Working within the risk and compliance team, I helped finalise the tail end of the sale of d3, the volume conveyancing side of the business as well as getting involved in other areas of risk and compliance.
