Andy is the Founder, Principal Partner and Managing Director of Perspective Strategies, a strategic communications and issues management consultancy formed in 2006. He is also an Adjunct Professor in the School of Media and Communication, Taylor's University. Perspective Strategies is a member agency of PRGN (Public Relations Global Network), one of the world's largest network of independent PR agencies. The firm is also an active corporate member of PRCA Malaysia (Public Relations and Communications Association of Malaysia).Andy is the Immediate Past President of PRGN. He is also a former President and a member of the Executive Committee of PRCA Malaysia. Andy’s forte is in strategic communications counsel and issues management. He has worked on corporate reputation management, stakeholder engagement and issues assignments for government agencies, statutory bodies and companies in the oil & gas, banking & finance, FMCG, property development, entertainment and infrastructure development sectors. In the area of coaching and training, Andy has had extensive experience in conducting workshops, coaching sessions and media training for Heads of Government Departments, CEOs and Industry & Corporate Spokespeople. Recently, he also founded the Communications Leadership Academy, the training and coaching organisation that is focused on delivering leadership-centered communications solutions for individuals, brands and organisations.Andy started his career in PR consulting in 2001 when he joined the corporate/ financial practice of international PR firm, Edelman Public Relations Worldwide. He specialised in financial communication, corporate reputation management and corporate branding for public listed and multinational clients.Prior to PR consulting, Andy worked for The Boston Consulting Group between 1997 and 2001 as an Information & Research Specialist. He was also responsible for the firm’s marketing communication function between 2000 and 2001. Andy holds an honours degree in Business Administration from Universiti Utara Malaysia. He is a Fellow of PRCA Malaysia and a former President of AIESEC Alumni Malaysia.
