About Andy Shields

I have over 25 years experience of working for third sector organisations at a number of levels with a variety of client groups. I have an in-depth knowledge of policy in a number of areas including:• Homelessness;• Employment and training; • Health;• Criminal Justice. I have been an operational manager involved the development of a number of new Housing and Employment and Training models for models for excluded groups such as: wet hostel provision for homeless people with substance misuse problems; street outreach services; supported employment; and provision for elderly rough sleepers. I was part of the team that developed the Outcome Star. I have been a Head of Business Development managing a large tender team and product development. .I have practical experience of operational interim management.
