I am currently working as a Senior Associate at PwC UK in Cyber Incident Response.Having joined the graduate scheme in Sept 2022, I have upskilled in a variety of disciplines within incident response and security operations, including cloud investigations, post-compromise assessments, IR plans and playbooks, SIEM audits and EDR detection content.In the past year I have been working as a dedicated resource for a public sector organisation, developing their CSOC integrations. This has included working with Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR, as well as pioneering the development of the organisation’s SOAR capability.Before joining PwC, I worked as a Ministry Assistant at St Ebbe's Church, Oxford, having graduated in 2020 from Durham University with a 1st in MEng General Engineering (Electronic).During my final year studying electronics at university, I conducted an individual project in developing a programmable bass guitar pedal in C on a Raspberry Pi 4. This involved working in the security team on a cyber security project within the Research, Technology and Innovation Department. I developed software in C and C++ languages and, at the end of the 8 weeks, delivered an individual 20 minute technical presentation.
