I was Involved in an internship program through Arizona State University’s school of Housing and Community Development in which there are weekly meetings with members of various departments throughout Pulte Homes including: Marketing, Land Development, Sales, Construction, Customer Relations, and Finance. During my time with Pulte Homes I assessed Take-off plans for future development sites and produced accurate budget spreadsheets that included water, concrete, paving, grading, sewer and drainage. I also attended budget meetings for Pulte’s land development department as well as Home Owner’s Associations for specific communities. I participated in progress meetings involving water pump stations for developing lots and occassionally acquired permits for development from the city of Phoenix.

Working as a summer intern with Colemont, I successfully completed projects in Brokerage, Binding, and National Programs. I Interacted directly with Brokers, Underwriters, Marketing Reps, and Agents. Throughout my experince with Colemont, I actively participated in meetings regarding commercial Insurance while also working with various teams specializing in Casualty, Transportation, Financial Services, Property, and Product Recall. The companies internship/training program effectively taught me the skills that I need to become a successful wholesale broker.
