Responsible for the management and implementation of the Business Change Programme. Manager of Customer Helpdesk and Client services teams. Have led the deployment of two MS Dynamics CRM systems with extended business processing capability. More recently focused on acquisition integration I took the lead in the business system integration for 7 GBG acquisitions and was responsible for bringing several new technologies into the group to support growth.

Responsible for the acquisition and management of service and software accounts. Created a highly successful training and development programme for a global construction equipment manufacturer, which was used as the basis for many other spin off initiatives. Also won an Excellence in training award for innovation.

Rand was growing rapidly when I joined and the engineering team were to large to rely on the start up structure. I develop a model that aligned skills to opportunities, and that empowered individuals to take responsibility for not only their day to day targets but for their skills development as well. This model produced a team that was able to push the boundaries further than many others and developed a reputation for excellence with the client base and won awards at national and regional levels, for its creative use of technology and excellence in training.

Worked on a range of drinks coolers for Guinness Ireland and Coke Europe as well as the part of the project team that implemented Lean/Toyota manufacturing principals.

At the time O&K was the largest UK manufacturer of Escalators and Autowalks to the retail and infrastructure sectors. I worked with clients such as British Rail, Burton Group, Boots the Chemist, Bovis Construction, to name a few, on projects such as, Liverpool Street Station, Canary Wharf- DLR Station, Jubilee Line Extension, Waterloo International, Bank Station redevelopment. As Project Manager I was responsible for the day to day planning and technical detail/client liaison as well as the commercial aspects of the installations. As Product Manager I worked extensively in Germany at our global head office on design scoping and new product introduction and supported the UK sales teams with all technical aspects of bids.
