Thames Valley & Oxford

Responsible for the direct leadership of the Thames Valley & Oxford region which serves over 1,000 Barclays Corporate clients who turn over between £5m-£1bn. The region covers a wide geographic area of more than 150 square miles and is served by 3 Corporate offices in Reading, Heathrow and Oxford. Supported by a 70 strong relationship team, I assume.

Southern Region

Senior Executive appointment to lead the sales and service coverage teams for the commercial business customer segment (£1-25m turn over). This involved leading 8 Area Directors, 65 Relationship Managers and similar support staff. Following the coming together of the former Corporate and Commercial business segments, I assumed responsibility for Thames.

Eastern Region

Sales leadership & business management of a team of Relationship Directors, Business Development Managers and Research Managers (15 direct reports) in the £25m-£1bn turnover segment. Also assumed full responsibility for business development activity across the external market.

UK-wide

Premier Banking supports affluent retail customers with an enhanced relationship banking proposition. In this role I developed a new Premier Banking sales model across the 500 strong relationship teams, overseeing its successful implementation which resulted in increased revenues, client experience and employee satisfaction. I also led the client.

London & Southern Regions

Full P&L responsibility for the 250,000 UK Domestic Affluent clients in London & the South. Matrix managed in excess of 150 senior managers, focused on the influencing of 3rd party delivery channels.Prior to this position, I held a number of senior leadership posts across Barclays Retail and Premier Banking.
