Introduced the concept of an OUTDOOR FURNITURE department to CEO Terry Lundgren and senior management at Macy's and ultimately planned and executed the launch.Based on the results of the initial test program in the Northeast,the category was developed and launched on a national basis as well as on Macys.com.I was involved in every aspect of this business including sourcing and merchandising,quality control,marketing and advertising strategies,sales associate and customer service training and web site development.

I was the Merchandising Vice President for America's #1 patio furniture store and responsible for all sourcing and merchandising while achieving sales of $98 million with 16 locations.
