After three years of updating the Fine Art & Antiques division of Dee Atkinson & Harrison I have bought this part of the business from the firm. I instigated the highly successful Classic Car & Motorcycle auctions held three times a year at Sledmere House and we are know the largest Classic Motorcycle auctioneer in the North of England, hold the record for the most expensive bike at £48,500, have sold to the Isle of Man Museum and collectors from around the globe.We shall continue with our core strengths of the classic car and motorcycles, along with jewellery, watches, silver, medals and paintings. We shall also continue with the regular furniture auctions and provide a full service to executors, from probate valuations through to complete house clearance.

Having returned from the retail sector in 2000 I had, with help from my team, expanded the jewellery and silver departments turnover regularly every year, I also value watches, coins, medals and Art deco bronzes. I have extensive knowledge in antique and period jewellery and silver with over 30 years of experiance. Highlights in 2014 included a collection of watches and jewellery that realised over £500,000, the most impressive being a complicated gents Patek Philippe wristwatch at £220,000.I enjoy training new members of staff and take great pleasure from following their careers.In the last three years I have also taken my interest in the classic car and motorbike world to consigning some interesting and varied collections to our auctions; in 2013 I consigned a motorbike and classic car collection that realised over £250,000.I regularly took auctions, silver sales in Oxford and the memorabilia section of the Stafford motorbike auction, I have also sold in London and Edinburgh. I undertake charity auctions, particularly for the Isle of Man TT riders association.
