• Full responsibility for all partner accounting processes, including managing partner capital upon appointment/resignation/lockstep movement, determining monthly drawings, calculating profit shares/distributions.
• Leading a team of four accounts staff covering cash, ledgers, billing and administration and a further three staff dealing with credit control;
• Financial reporting to the Management Board and partners, including preparation of commentary on performance and other salient issues; attending Management Board meetings on a monthly basis;
• Setting up and prospering new monthly departmental P&L accounts with devolved budgets;
• Annual production of the LLP financial statements; and working with tax advisors in the production of the annual LLP tax return;
• Running the annual budgeting process;

• Preparation and review of monthly income statement, balance sheet, and financial reporting pack with narrative comments, submitted to Group Financial Controller;
• Preparation of year end financial statements, including cash flow statements;
• Preparation of monthly analysis reports (eg cash analysis, accounts receivable reports, work in progress reports), and other ad hoc reports as required by the Group FC;
• Supervising and supporting the Finance team, including responsibility for annual and mid-year performance appraisals, and workload planning during periods of high work volume/staff absences;
• Meeting with departmental managers quarterly to review actual v budget expenditures;
• Reviewing Finance department processes, and initiating, implementing and documenting improved procedures (eg eBilling and eReminders);
