I was the sole European representative for a U.S software developer supplying ERP software into the plastics processing industry across Europe. I was responsible for launching the product throughout Benelux and Scandinavia, whilst continuing to expand my sales effort and account management of the existing UK customer base (sold through my previous employment). I was responsible for the project management of all new European implementations in tandem with U.S based implementation consultants whilst also being responsible for personally providing all remedial training and consultancy services to the entire “Live” European customer base. During this period I developed a KPI dashboard “Insight” which used the CorVu Business Intelligence suite to provide embedded KPI’s, alerts, and scorecards from across the database to the European customer base. I was responsible for identifying a niche market within the UK and Ireland for an American ERP system “The Manufacturing Manager” under a distributor agreement. I played a large part in identifying the areas in which the software needed to be modified to meet the European business model. Having successfully launched the software within the UK plastics processing vertical my responsibilities were primarily new business sales.
