Helping develop cloud architectures and processes.Provides deep level SQL DBA/development skills when needed and SQL project management / process improvement to database team. Defining / updating standards, new technology research, development improvement, mentoring. Supporting many tightly couple data replication / integration proceses between multiple database platforms (DB2, SQL, Oracle, Pervasive, MIMIX Share, SQL Replication, custom code). Perform I5/OS DB2 7.1 deep level DBA functions as required.

Manage United States and overseas resources to handle SQL / DB2 operational processes, database maintenance, database development standards and troubleshooting daily issues. We are also working to migrate existing SMP business intelligence solution to a Microsoft PDW solution.

Data schema design, cross platform database integration, and code/query performance in SQL Server and IBM i/5 OS DB2. Develop and maintain processes for integrating databases of various third party and internally developed systems. Manage documenting and assigning work to offshore resources.

Responsible for the 24x7 operations and monitoring of computer systems, managing 4 supervisors. Performed data center planning, planned and led the consolidation of two AS/400 systems into a single system while simultaneously moving from OS/400 V4R4 to V5R2. Led and drove the migration from RLA (Record level access) RPG programming to SQL for data operations.
