The Production IT department is an integral part of the overall support solution at Deluxe. We are responsible for the design, installation, support and maintenance of all production servers, storage and network infrastructure. We also provide workflow support and play a critical role in maintaining the security of our clients' assets within our.

Managing the network infrastructure on their production network as well as all production workstations on a variety of Windows, Linux and Mac platforms. Building and maintaining multiple SAN devices. Developing and maintaining Signiant Media Exchange content transfer platforms. Preparing and guiding policy and workflows to meet stringent audit conditions.

• Performed the role of network, systems, database and telco administrator
• Managed task load using global ticketing system to maintain acceptable SLA’s and ensure that knowledge base answers were compiled for future problems
• Responsible for over 30 web, database and mail servers (Windows/Linux split) complete with firewall and VPN site-to-site tunnels at an offsite data centre and the company Tridion content management system
• Created and implemented disaster recovery plan for offsite business continuation.
• Built and maintained backup solutions for local servers as well as Mac laptop users (Time Machine equivalent)
• Managed budgets, tracked inventory and handled all purchasing for IT equipment

• Managed internal network services (mail, fileserver, administrative, etc.) for over 200 employees
• Traveled extensively between offices in Toronto and Milton for service calls and network issues

• Managed average of 40 employees on a daily basis, providing alternate solutions for TSR (Technical Service Representative) staff, scheduling shifts and conducting annual performance evaluations
• Created and performed bi-monthly training sessions for new and existing TSR staff
