Andy leads BVG Associates' business advisory consulting to the wind energy industry. He has been actively involved at key moments of the industry since his first role 30 years ago. He is an engineer, supply chain consultant and business leader with intelligence, drive and judgement. Prior to joining BVGA he set up and managed a wind energy business developing, building, owning and maintaining distributed wind energy projects. Before that he worked at a series of blue-chip consulting firms where he led and delivered business transformation projects across the supply chains of organisations, with a track record of rapid change and tangible benefits. He has particular expertise in delivering cross-functional projects with stretching goals in firms with complex industrial products, such as strategy development, accelerated new product development or cost reduction.He is comfortable managing diverse and distributed teams and working with stakeholders at all levels to make sustainable change happen. A broad set of supply chain skills are built on a firm foundation of technical education with practical engineering experience and a passion for wind energy and the environment.
