We deal with the deployment of new IT equipment for the GHT/GP/ICB Trusts, this includes but is not limited to pc's, laptops, monitors, scanners and printers.As well as deploying new equipment we also take part in various projects including replacing old equipment as part of the on-going refresh project for the GHT Trust.Updating the asset register in Topdesk with regards to the movement and deployment of hardware.Using active directory to update user/device information and privileges.Making sure that calls allocated to the team are closed within agreed SLA's, liaising with customers via email and telephone where issues arise and to confirm that they are happy with they're resolution.Collecting additional stock from various locations including Big Yellow, Victoria Warehouse, Pullman Warehouse and The Orchard Centre.Making sure that there is sufficient stock at site for Secondline Technicians to replace slow/broken existing equipment.

Support all Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, Outlook (2010).Logging calls from internal customers via the telephone, email or self service portal within the Topdesk call logging system.Upgrading software on pc's where needed (Office, Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash Player, Java & Internet Explorer).Using remote connection software (Team Viewer, VNC, Remote Assistance & Kaseya) to try and resolve issues at the first attempt or pass to a 2nd line support team where required.Allocation and support according to data protection guidelines on all password related queries.

Manage all new starter, leaver and transfer requests from initial notification, raising requests on the system through to creating,activating and deactivating system access within Active Directory.Support all Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, Outlook (2003) as well as Frontline, Summit and various other bespokeapplications on Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems.Logging calls from internal customers via telephone or email, resolving the problem or passing on to 2nd or 3rd line support teams.Manage 3rd party support problems, escalating to contract managers where required.Liaise and communicate service availability to all internal customers.Allocation and support according to data protection guidelines on all password related enquiries.
