I am a race driver with right sided limb deformities, spondylitis and scoliosis following an RTC in 2013 where I was knocked off my motorcycle whilst stationary at a set of traffic lights. I then spent six years, back and forth hospital for numerous surgeries and procedures to my limbs. On top of the physical disabilities, I was left with post traumatic stress disorder, depression and anxiety from the incident. My motto is "Get back up!" a simple phrase that's often overlooked. Motorsport is a level playing field. It allows me to compete in an environment where ability is the key ingredient. There is no other sport in the world where able bodied and the disabled can compete against each other in such a dramatic fashion. 2020. I competed in the Britcar Endurance Trophy, securing fourth place overall and taking the podium on three occasions in class three driving the teams BMW 116. 2021. Third place overall in the Britcar Endurance Trophy whilst competing in class one - a considerable step up in pace and challenges in a BMW M240i. 2022. Competed in the British Endurance Championship driving an Aston Martin GT4, securing multiple podium positions including an outright class win. Finishing 3rd in the championship despite a race ending fire and another race ending early with a clutch and gearbox failure. 2023 saw a move to HighRow Motorsport, ran by professional racer Max Coates. Competing in the Rowe Oils Britcar Endurance Championship in a Renault Clio x98. I narrowly missed out on the overall championship due to a fault of no one’s making. The throttle pedal died at the last round. Sadly, that’s motorsport for you - you never know what to expect! Collecting multiple wins and regular steps up on to the podium, along with the converted “Sunoco fuels driver of the day award.” In the process, being the only disabled driver to collect such accolade for an impressive performance at Oulton Park. 2024 sees me stay with High Row Motorsport in the Rowe Oils Britcar Endurance Championship - with redemption on my mind and a clear goal of winning the championship. As a disabled competitor, I am not at a disadvantage. If you'd like to hear more about my adventures on and off track, I'm available for public speaking events. I cover a wide range of subjects such as mental health, overcoming the odds, positivity in the workplace to diversity and inclusion. I am incredibly proud to be partnered with Inspired Business Media, EB Critical, Grip722, TidyButt and Zamp Helmets EU who enable me to take part in the sport that I love.
