In my role as a campus ambassador I:- served as a liaison between Hyland and Ohio University, organizing events, and connecting with students- honed my skills in event planning, public speaking, and leadership through planning and hosting events- play a pivotal role in introducing students to Hyland and contribute to the company's recruitment efforts on campus- positively impacted Ohio University's community by facilitating informative and engaging events that benefit both students and Hyland

During my time as an intern at Hyland in the Project Management Office I:- conducted a thorough gap analysis between five different project methodologies and improved their parity- spent time supporting senior members of the project management office on one off initiatives- worked with peers and managers to develop a long-term career development plan- shadowed under a technical writing team to broaden my experience as an intern- rebranded outdated methodology templates to fit new state requirements and ensure company alignment- optimized discovery phase documentation for ease of requirements definition in customer-facing situations and to reduce overall workload for the leading project manager

Dynamic Metal Services is a metal processing company that intakes many millions of pounds of scrap metal each week. As an intern I was tasked with creating a catalog to aid in tracking the chemical composition of commonly received scrap materials. Over the summer I was able to create a partially automated catalog system that will allow users to reference common scrap metals from specific companies as they enter the inventory system, significantly accelerating the intake process. I also spent time deconstructing and analyzing various scrap items in order to create an accurate chemical composition profile. This profile was stored in the catalog to further aid in resale pricing and alloy production.
