Proficient in use of Foundant Technologies' Grant Lifecycle Management software Co-coordinate the Ohio Historical Markers program, which has erected over 380 markers across Ohio since 2010 and grossed more than $950,000 in receipts. Train and lead volunteers and interns who review marker texts. Collaborated with William G. Pomeroy Foundation of Syracuse, NY to create new marker grant program for Ohio. Initially intended for three counties, program expend to cover 18. Pomeroy grants have funded 30 markers, totaling more than $88,000 in receipts. Collaborated with Ohio Local History Alliance and local history leaders to plan and administer regional and annual meetings, workshops, and awards program for the Ohio Local History Alliance, a professional development organization for community historians. Fee-supported meetings and programs of the Alliance attract an average of 500 paying participants per year, who consistently rank the meetings as “excellent” and “superior.” Conducted 19 needs assessments and facilitated two strategic plans for local history organizations. Assessments inspired the adoption of better collections care and management techniques and revision of exhibits at local historical organizations.

Snyder Jr, $5,500 for expansion of exhibit space at Ohio River Museum, and $15,900 for rehabilitation of Tell City riverboat’s pilothouse.Implemented an innovative community fundraising project which increased both school field trip attendance and school program revenue by 31%. Developed productive relationships with members of the local media, served as expert source for local history and museum activities, and was a frequent guest on regional radio and TV public affairs shows.Led efforts to prepare for and clean up after flood disasters at Ohio River Museum in September 2004 and January 2005, two of the highest floods in the Mid-Ohio River Valley in 50 years. Received an employee merit raise for outstanding job performance in 2007.
