Undertaking many diverse activities as part of my role within Vattenfall, drawing on nearly 4 decades of experience in the electrical industry. My primary role was that of business development, but in practice I worked across all areas of Vattenfall’s networks businesses (private networks and IDNO), including technical support for the UK and wider EU teams, BoD & FEED design, tendering, estimating, asset value modelling, developing legal contract templates, project definition / specifications. Key activities included: Initial advice and feasibility studies, winning contracts, building high-quality networks, site acceptance testing, site failure investigations.Vattenfall Network Solutions Ltd adopts, builds, owns and operates high voltage private wire networks under an operation lease. Taking full responsibility for a client’s electrical needs by owning their networks and managing all compliance, regulatory and environmental issues. Specialising in renewable generation, battery storage (BESS) and Micro grids, with an emphasis on climate smart solutions for industry and heavy transport applications.Vattenfall IDNO is an Ofgem regulated Independent Distribution Network Operator. They design, own and operate new grid connections and electrical networks which take electricity from the grid to your home or business. They also connect generation to the grid, for example, solar or wind farms.
