Supporting the Project Manager on this project worth in excess of £40m; producing estimates and programmes for additional packages of work as directed by Network Rail; attending progress reviews, and developing valuations in liaison with the Commercial Department.Partnered NR H&S Manger with a project to survey adequacy of the fatigue management arrangements for contractors on the Crossrail West Project. Developing opportunities resulting in the company’s increased involvement in the overall Crossrail works between Paddington and Maidenhead; personally delivering a £2.3m package of works around Southall Station comprising Signalling, Signalling Power, and Civils elements.

• S&C Renewals Project [Apr ’12 - Aug ’12]: Responsible for providing the Signal Engineering input for the S&C renewals works. This work involved the complete replacement of switches and crossings along with replacing and upgrading the FTN, line-side and four-foot equipment.• Southern Level Crossings Renewals [Oct ’11 - Apr ’12]: Providing S&T Engineering input for the Tranche 4 Level-Crossing Renewals Project, including the complete renewal of Moreton Level-Crossing near Dorchester.• Cotswolds Re-doubling Project [ Jan ’11 - Oct ’11]: Responsible for all installation works such as SPTs, track circuits, TPWS, AWS and PZTs, customer information systems such as Next Train Indicators and train announcement/ passenger information intercoms and help points, CCTV systems; installation of new axle-counters, REBs, FSPs, PSPs, decommissioned lever frame signal boxes and associated mechanical interlocking and oversaw the installation of new NX signal panels at Ascot-Under-Wychwood and Evesham Signal Boxes. Assisting engineers in the delivery of several replacement level-crossings and crossing upgrades.• Amey Bidding Department [Sep’09 - Jan’11]: Providing the Signalling Engineering expertise for the signalling elements of tender submissions for GRIP stages 4 & 5 - 8 Projects throughout the country - successfully winning bids in excess of £20m. • S&C Renewals [Dec ’07 - Sep ’09]: Providing the S&T Engineering input for the signalling element of the renewal works after TUPE into Amey
