Infrastructure project manager covering all the Prudential Group companies including Prudential UK, M&G, M&G Real Estate and Group Head Office. Projects delivered include, new UK and European offices for Eastspring investments. Intra office moves for circa 220 staff at Prudential headquarters and new office set up. Centrify manage roll out across 1200 Unix server estate. New Learning management application deployed effecting 8000 staff. New office set up for M&G Real Estate in Seoul, Korea. Replacement Secure e-mail platform rolled out to 8000 staff.

Brentwood, Essex

• 3Par SAN installation across 4 sites, storage provided 220Tb, budget circa £1.6Million, project duration 9 months. This projected included all elements of the property/environmental preparatory work and performing the technical lead for the install and also planning and managing the data migration.• Digital signage solution for corporate internal communications, staff effected 1200 budget circa £75,000, Project duration 6 months.• WAN MPLS migration between C&W and BT across 15 sites, staff effected 1200 budget circa £250,000, project duration 12 months• Replacement of an enterprise grade call recording solution (NICE) across 4 sites affecting 650 staff, budget £350,000. Project duration 6 months. • LAN switch upgrade staff effected 600, budget circa £150,000, duration 6 months• Desktop hardware refresh and migration from windows 2000 to windows XP and from office 2003 to office 2007, staff affected 450, budget circa £400,000. Project duration 4 months• Office fit out for 150 staff including structured cabling, telephony and network services, budget circa £250,000. Project duration 6 months. This project involved a high degree of business liaison and guidance through the vendor selection process and representing the business case at board level. • Manage 2 external project managers assigned from an outsource IT partner and 30 concurrent projects budgets less than £50k per project, including RAG status reporting and troubleshooting. • Regular office moves across 5 sites ranging from 50 to 300 staff. • Management of project and programme budgets both internal and for IT outsource providers on an day to day basis and also inline with strategic planning.

• Analysis of monthly service delivery reports and MI, assisting in the on going development of reporting and statistical information.• Management of an IT outsource provider for project and service delivery. • Management and control of cost reduction and cost saving initiatives, total savings £250,000.• Operational interface and management of the IT elements of company wide installation, moves and changes for desktop, telephony, networks (WAN & LAN) and server infrastructure.• Contrubute to the definition and maintenance of the IT infrastructure strategy in line with business requirements and cost saving initiatives.• Contract and ongoing relationship management of the primary Outsource partner and other key IT services providers such as HP, BT, Cable & Wireless and Microsoft.• Definition and development of business support procedures, ensuring PCI, DPA and FSA compliance.• Management and maintenance of all IT infrastructure project documentation including asset registers.
