My early career was spent operating my Formula Ford team finding most success in the British Formula Ford Championship, running many drivers including Mario Haberfeld, Michael Vergers, Darren Malkin, Dan Wheldon, Fairuz Fauzy and Danica Patrick amongst others. From 2001 I moved into higher Formulas in the European, Italian, German and North European Cup Formula Renault championships, working with highly-successful Swiss team Jenzer Motorsport, and in Formula Renault UK with Team Firstair and John Village Automotive. I also enetred the 2010 Formula Pilota China series. The team was a collaboration between Switzerland’s Jenzer Motorsport, winning the Championship that year..In 2014 I joined Aquafuel Research Ltd. a UK based company, who specialise in low emissions generator systems. They were looking for a manager for their recently won contract with Formula e, to operate, maintain and develop the 2 low emissions portable generators that would be used to provide the race car charging for the first 5 years of the championship.Aquafuel Research have been involved with other motor sport projects during this time most notable the VW ID R prototype electric sports car, providing low emissions zero carbon energy for their record attempts at Pikes Peak & Goodwood.
