Having had an excellent apprenticeship in the electrical industry working on MOD airbases, army camps and GCHQ satellite stations, I was fortunate enough to feel confident in my new found abilities to venture in to being freelance for several years, working on some prestigious project that included the MOD offices in Filton in Bristol, BTs new offices in Bristol and Fujitsu’s TV manufacturing facility in Cardiff to name but a few.Off to university for 5 years gaining an HND along with a BSc degree, I found myself teaching for 6 years at Petroc college in Acoustics and the physics of sound. Not a career I ever thought I’d be doing but a very rewarding career none the less. The construction industry came calling once again and it’s where I feel I’m most comfortable, so after many years of experience behind me I went ahead and took the qualifications needed to become a construction site manager and now I’m able to really put my skills and experience to the test and lead a construction team to complete projects safely, on time, within budget and to a highest standards, while setting the example of professionalism throughout the build process. In my youth I have been a surfer, musician, waterpolo player, surf life saver to name but a few activities. Now I’m a family man, taxi service for the kids and linesman for my boys local football team as well as my kids swimming coach, cricket coach, golf coach etc. Did I mention I play terrible golf.
