My core experience has been as an editor, working at both the structural and line (copyediting) levels across a range of disciplines, from humanities through to technical STEM and medical content, from primary through to graduate level. I'm still working as a freelance editor, but I'm also interested in opportunities to use my broad skillset in different ways.With a PhD in chemistry and teaching qualifications, I’m an engaging and effective presenter of mathematical and scientific concepts, but I've also been involved in the arts and music performance. I’m a quick study of new content, even outside my areas of expertise. I’m pragmatic and efficient – known to get in and do what’s needed, fix what needs fixing, get projects back on track, make life easier for my clients, and deliver on time. I also build congenial, respectful and productive relationships with clients and colleagues.
