A unique application of my HSE background and HR skills, I worked closely with our operations managers to ensure that site visitations, audits, incident investigations, and emergency protocols were being followed and documented to satisfy both WorkSafeBC and BC Forest Safety requirements. I was also responsible for overseeing all aspects of workforce planning including employee meetings, trainings and new hire orientations.
