Responsible for Health and Safety within a diverse healthcare and retail environment. Principally focused on fire safety, risk assessment and safe working practices. I am responsible for advising the organisation on health and safety, identifying areas for improvement, providing solutions implementing change and training in those solutions as required. Kent

I Managed various 'Healthcare' related contracts comprising full service and assisted living. Working with both both local authority and private sector clients including specialist Alzheimers providers, elderly services providers and sheltered housing with nationally recognised organisations. Contracts were a mix of cost plus and fixed price. were a mixture of fixed price and cost plus. Total business value £6m p/a

South East

I managed a group of 160 primary schools on a large LEA contract with a turnover of £7.5m, serving 20,000 meals per day. I Also had a small Academy contract comprising 4 schools. I had full P and L responsibility and consistently achieved targets. Working closely with local authority Education Dept. and private academy group my team and I achieved successful mobilization of UIFSM across all sites. I worked with 8 direct reports with a range of disciplines.

Sodexo Healthcare (Fixed Term Contract)

After leaving Sodexo Education due to redundancy I was offered a short term contract working with Sodexo Healthcare to support and mobilize newly won Home Service Local authority contracts. Setting up a new distribution depot brining together three staff groups from different local authorities to work as a cohesive team for a private secrtor company, Managing TUPE process for existing teams and recruitment of additional team members. Leading a sucessfull mobilization.

I managed a large multi site Education catering contract with approximately 60 sites. Turnover value of £3m with a 90% fresh cook offer. Working closely with my team and my client we improved the food offer and made a big impact on staff engagement to deliver two contract extensions.

Operations manager with national responsibility for Sodexo home service. I was looking after 9 diverse contracts for comprising local authority and Blue Light Services supplying a mixture of individual and multi-portion meals. I also managed business in London to individual private clients who did not meet local authority assessment criteria. The total value of the business was £4m.7 direct reports group manager, finance manager, five contract managers.

Essex

I was Regional operations manager running three catering contracts with a turnover of in excess of £3.5m producing over 1 million meals p/a on a seven day service.One of these contracts is the largest tendered contract of its type in the UK with 8 catering sites 10 managers, approx. 300 staff and 80 vehicles. I successfully ran the rebid process for the contract and won the new tender with a chilled food offer. With my team we managed the overnight change to chilled food from frozen on the first day of the new contract I was a member of The senior management team and involved in strategic planning and decision making of the organisation.
