Andy is currently the COO at Arquebus Solutions, a British Company helping governments around the world prevent the misuse of firearms. Andy is responsible for internal compliance, governance and programme delivery, using his experience to help foreign governments build effective small arms and light weapons control programmes. His work is conducted across Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean, and includes advice and guidance, filling capacity gaps , developing procedures and people, as well as providing the technology to underpin successful gun control programmes.Prior to this he had a 33 year career in policing, and law enforcement where he became a highly accomplished senior leader with extensive knowledge and experience in Intelligence and as a Senior Investigating Officer for both reactive and sensitive Major & Serious Crime and Counter Terrorism Investigations.His knowledge and leadership skills expand further into strategic planning and working closely with communities and partners around the operational delivery of key Events and Risk Management.He has had considerable involvement working collaboratively with strategic partners such as HM Government, Security Service, the Military and Public Sector Services with a track record for consistent effective delivery. A recent example being responsible for delivering a strategic Uplift change programme with Avon & Somerset Constabulary, with a significant growth in establishment.Andy is a personable and dedicated leader with a history of making communities feel safe and be safe.
