Penny and Andy Wright became a franchisee of Eggs Up Grill in December of 2019. The team opened their first location in Canton in December 2020, their second location in Rome in March 2021, and their third location between Alpharetta and Cumming in September 2022. Prior to becoming a franchisee, Mrs. Wright was a Community Engagement Manager for a children's advocacy non-profit while Mr. Wright was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Eggs Up Grill's franchisor. In this role he was responsible for planning, implementing, and managing all financial-related activities of the company. This includes direct responsibility for accounting, finance, and information technology. Prior to joining Eggs Up Grill, Andy was the CFO of Pure Barre, one of the largest players in boutique fitness with over 500 locations. Earlier in his career Andy held various positions of increasing responsibility with OTO Development (a South Carolina based hospitality company), IBM Global Services, and Extended Stay America. Andy earned a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia, and a MS in Management of Technology from the University of Miami. Penny and Andy live in Canton, Georgia with 1 of their 3 children (Susi is studying in Savannah and Ian is heading to UGA in the spring - Go Dawgs!).
