A hard working Physical Education Teacher / Sports Coach with a proven track record of working in the educational sector, taking on managerial / leadership roles when called upon. Experience with the new Ofsted framework. Skills include coaching, leadership, development, strategic planning, and assessment. (No QTS).As an experienced sportsman my communication and team work skills are excellent both on and off the rugby field. I have great enthusiasm for coaching and developing players within various age groups. I have an ambition and expectation to succeed in all aspects of work and rugby, whilst following rugby's core values of respect, sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and enjoyment. In 2014 I was appointed as one of the youngest Directors of Rugby in the country after years of success as club captain, including an undefeated season. I also coached at county level in Essex where I had two roles, women's forwards coach and under 18's lead coach, during my time in the role I was part of the coaching set up in the 2017-18 county championship winning season. My current coaching roles are with Thurrock RFC where I am head coach for the T-Birds women's team who play their rugby in Championship South (one league below the Premier 15's), winning the Championship title repeatedly. In addition to the 2018-19 league title the team completed an impressive double adding the National Cup to the league success. I have also taken over as acting Director of Rugby of Dagenham Rugby Club supporting a side who have only lost twice in the past 3 seasons.
