JSA is a high profile accountancy and payroll services business serving several thousand freelancers and temporary workers via a Limited company accounts and tax division alongside the operation of an Umbrella company. My role covered tax and accounting advice to clients, compliance, commercial and finance matters across the business, strategic business developments and representing the interests of the firm and the freelancer sector more widely through participation in industry bodies liaising with HMRC policy units and BIS.

Commercially-focussed FD role in a rapid growth, substantial foreign exchange business serving the travel money market through partnerships with major retailers and travel agency groups, alongside the company's own nationwide network of bureau de change operating under the Eurochange brand.

Following promotion through manager roles, 7 years as partner in 12 partner West End firm of Chartered Accountants. My portfolio encompassed a wide range of business types and sectors, primarily SMEs but also numbering many UK-based subsidiaries of US and Canadian software innovators. My range covered audit, tax, investigations, acquisitions and support for refinancing, alongside internal responsibilities for recruitment and management of professional staff and adding new business to the portfolio.
