Working with a team of JMU students to develop real-world experience in the disciplines of website development to assist local organizations and communities enhance their online presence. Under the direction of the program manager, I am responsible for web development and with regular input from the client, the creation of content relevant to product or service. As the first computer information systems major to join the team I have been able to add my technical and business skills coupled with knowledge of cloud-based services. In return, I have received a vast understanding of building websites and acquired the skills necessary to gain insight into the world of a media arts and design major. Creating a solid foundation in these fields will allow me to attain a greater perspective.
