Starting member of the new global IT Efficiency Management Team which's primary objective is to create a rigorous and sustainable cost culture in global IT and to identify and implement savings opportunities. Main cost-line responsibilities: Machinery & Equipment, specifically in regards to the End-User Platform (PCs/Laptops/High End WS/VM’s), Travel & Entertainment, Communication (Telephony, Bloomberg)• Project Representative/Lead for the IT within the global bank-wide 'One PC per Employee' initiative targeted at reducing hardware/User ratio. More rigourous savings plans 4-8 Mio denied due to envisionned manager dissatisfaction and better market conditions.• Establish overview of OPEX spend and existing or proposed reports to identify and recommend savings opportunities• Screen database of abandoned Operational Excellence Projects to identify / revitalize possible opportunities and validate current initiatives priorities in view of savings and efficiency impact.• Take care of Project Management Office work like setting up Share Point site for collaboration, Meeting Agenda's, Minutes, Invitations, Management Presentations, charter templates, roadmaps• Represent global IT in diverse workgroup committees as a subject mater expert. As a member of the Global WinPAM Project Team, our responsibility was to create and implement a single global database - global/local implementation of PAM (Princeton Asset Management Tool for concurrent Accounting valuations) for Asset and Portfolio Management Services in order to comply with US-GAAP and local Accounting rules. This was required before Credit Suisse (owner of Winterthur) could proceed with a listing on the NY Stock Exchange

Lead design of inventory, life-cycle, and re-cycling tools. Total annual equipment budget: CHF 120 million.
