Coordinating scientific work and the organization of the EPIsoDE clinical trial, as well as performing clinical work (https://episode-study.de/)As study coordinator, my work consists of a varied range of organizational tasks, from scheduling, ensuring proper documentation of study participants, to supervising interns. Alongside the organizational aspect, I am involved in the clinical aspect as well. Here my activities include determining the eligibility of patients to be included in the study as well as assessing the severity of patients´ depression at different time points throughout the study. We use a variety of psychological measurement tools to do so, such as the SCID-PD, SCID-CV, HAM-D, C-SSRS, GAF, CGI.

Supported by a stipend of the MIND Foundation, working as part of the EPIsoDE clinical trial (https://episode-study.de/). There, I am researching change mechanisms in patients with treatment-resistant depression in psychedelic therapy, compared to change mechanisms in standard psychotherapy, as defined by Klaus Grawe.Please note: I discontinued my PhD project. My involvement with the EPIsoDE study continued as Charité offered me an employment contract to remain a part of the study team.

The function included managing all aspects of telephone operations for approximately 900 companies, ranging from defective elevators to insurances. I was able to return to the company three times after travel or study-related work, which was a win-win scenario for both my employer and me.

Starting as a promotional employee at concerts, events, and festivals; throughout my employment I took on more tasks. Eventually these tasks expanded to managing the distribution of promotional items and coordinating our sales teams at noteworthy large-scale festivals such as Lowlands, Pinkpop, and Defqon.

The High Care is a closed ward in a psychiatric hospital, specializing in severely psychotic patients. My work consisted of diagnosing, speaking with, and ultimately suggesting therapeutic direction which the psychiatrist, my supervisor, would oversee. Towards the end my caseload consisted of 7 patients and I was able to work independently.

Florein is a home-assistance company, providing a service to disabled or elderly people that cannot take care of household tasks while still living at home. The work included performing practically all household tasks such as cleaning, washing, ironing, and the like. I would personally state that the social component was extremely valuable to nearly all customers, often spending a significant amount of time talking, helping to do groceries, just going for a walk. Often, customers were people that were limited in mobility, thereby being limited in social interaction. This gave the work a depth and understanding and gave rise to beautiful interpersonal connections.
