I am a consultant specialising in in geoscience and positioning. I worked in Senior Executive or equivalent roles in Geoscience Australia for the past ten years with extensive experience across almost all of the organisation’s geoscience areas in delivering pre-competitive data programs, operational services and change programs. I thrive in roles with a wide range of diverse responsibilities and have a track record of proactively identifying emerging issues, creating teams and delivering on time and budget. I have a long-term strong interest in harnessing developments in IT and other technologies for better results. I am passionate about communicating results that make a difference to government and industry. Career highlights include: Leading the team funded $220m to provide and Australian Satellite Based Augmentation System (SBAS) to improve location and navigation services across the country Chairing Exploration Investment and Geoscience Working Group (also known as the Chief Government Geologists), leading development of the National Minerals Exploration Strategy and the creation and implementation of the investment promotion group Australia Minerals Leading the planning and commencement of Geoscience Australia’s four year UNCOVER program in partnership with State and Territory Leading the development and delivery of the Australian Government’s National Flood Risk Information program in response to the 2011 floods
