Retired from Oracle at the end of 2010, but was re-appointed as a Member Nominated Trustee (MNT) of the Oracle UK Pension Plan in January 2014 when non employees were allowed to be MNTs.A few changes to the plan since I was last a trustee:- there are now pensioners being paid from the Plan following some changes in legislation which affected annuities that could be purchased when a member retired.- Oracle has employed a Pension Manager (Norman Lee) who is also Secretary to the Trustees- there is now a professional trustee from Dalriada Trustees - http://dalriadatrustees.co.uk/I ceased being a Trustee in July 2016 as Oracle decided they would prefer to have a sole professional Trustee (as they were fully entitled to do). Dalriada became the sole trustee and I have every confidence they will do a good job, especially as they already have good knowledge of the scheme.
