Having graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Electronic Engineering I started my career designing parallel processing computers for use as digital signal processors in radars. I spent time designing mathematical modelling software and image based aircraft navigation systems as part of defence industry projects. I used this formal software engineering background to deliver my first commercial software application, a call centre and call lifecycle management suite. This commercial software development experience helped when it came time to design and development the AdvanceRetail POS application.
