My value comes in the areas of Operations & Facilities management, Human Resources, Recruiting and Onboarding, office relocation, special events and project planning, as well as the strong work ethic and unique, positive energy I bring to the workplace. • Successfully negotiate and foster relationships with vendors, building management and clients resulting in reduction of operational costs• Primary building contact overseeing our main office (50+ employees, 10,000 sq ft), while also supervising and resolving high-level issues at our Carlsbad and Denver locations• Take pride in offering the utmost safety and well-being for all office occupants, addressing employee needs and preserving a comfortable atmosphere reflective of company core values• Develop, manage, and plan monthly & annual operational budgets, in additional to completing high volume expense reports accurately and on-time• Responsible for the planning and execution of many internal and community sponsored events • Manage health & safety requirements, inspections, renovation projects and annual budgets covering repairs, maintenance, supplies, events and unexpected issues for all facilities• Support HR dept in new hire, promotion and termination requirements, as well as ad hoc employee issues• Designed in-house posters and signage to promote company information and a positive work environment• Proactively improved the recruiting and Onboarding process resulting in a more personal, valued experience for candidates and employees• Member of Relocation team tasked with moving our office in April 2013 to current location. Gained experience dealing with multiple budgets, construction/TI costs, architecture/interior design, purchasing, coordinating physical move of employees & office furniture/equipment, and troubleshooting on the fly
