Hired to make current and complete a PHP / MySQL web application as well as start a new PHP / MySQL web application project.

Contracted to design a cost effective digital signage solution to display video, imagery, and text in Russell Standard Corp's corporate offices. Designed a server side application to handle the task and utilized low cost embedded solutions to work as the clients.

Executive Achievements• Web and graphic design brought back in-house after terminating outsourcing contract. • Reduced monthly bandwidth costs by implementing data compression and by moving several remote services in-house. • Redesigned company IT infrastructure reducing energy consumption and increasing network reliability and efficiency.Technology Leadership Contributions• Designed and developed a fully featured, PCI compliant payment procesing gateway and API with administrative and user level front ends. The gateway includes detailed reporting mechanisms, insightful intrusion detection and monitoring systems, and a very elaborate account scrubbing system as well as providing Check21 and Visa / Mastercard functionality.• Exceeded company security requirements, reaching stringent PCI standards by implementing industry-standard network security and intrusion prevention measures.• Implemented a multi-tiered billing system supporting master merchant and referral agent capability.• Developed customized solutions for clients to enable complete integration of their systems to our processing gateway.

Hired and relocated from Pittsburgh, Pa to aide the CTO in the development of a cutting edge check processing payment gateway. Within the first 6 months with the company I was promoted to IT manager overseeing the corporate infrastructure while maintaining my duties as Sr. Developer.
