    Oct 18 update: Well that was huge fun! In my 9 years we: grew from a bit player to become the UKs Number One operator in customer numbers; sold the business to CVC; separated from Sky and became an independent company; expanded internationally; and sold to The Stars Group to create the worlds largest listed gaming company. We built a team of amazing people, nurtured one of the best company cultures there is, obsessed about customer experiences, became a tech-led business and saw the results in our financial performance. As CTO, I was privileged to be in the middle of it all, learning from fantastic colleagues as we scaled over 10x in most metrics (revenue, EBIT, customers, employees). It was an incredible journey which leaves Sky Betting & Gaming in a very strong position for continuing success and equipped me with many skills to take forward in my new role in The Stars Group. Likes: Lean Startup, Agile, people who have fun, big scaling challenges, site reliability.Dislikes: mediocrity, the status quo, egotists.
