The Senior IT Administrator role is responsible for the daily operations of secure and highly available computing platforms, servers, and networks. You will be part of the team who design, install, maintain and continuously improve the brands global operating environment. You will also maintain the ongoing reliability, performance and support of the infrastructure. The Senior IT Administrator supports new technologies as well as assisting in the configuration and maintenance of the existing AllSaints IT estate. Other responsibilities include troubleshooting problems when escalated by the Service Desk team, supporting Internet access and electronic messaging services and maintaining a secure systems environment. You will share your expertise and provide individual training and support. The Senior IT Administrator will work with other technical and digital staff as well as vendors to provide IT services to every part of the global business. Support technician covering 1st, 2nd and 3rd line issues for our worldwide AllSaints stores and Head Office users.- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (XP, Vista, 7 and MS Server 03 and 08) and Mac OSX (Leopard, Lion and Mountain Lion).- Troubleshooting issues with MS Office 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2011 for Mac.- Assisting domain users with account issues and setting permissions for mapped drives.- Configuring new Till PC's and Office staff PC's using disk imagery and group policy.- Rebuilding and providing support to warehouse staff for the handheld barcode scanner guns using the in-house software.- Recommend, order, configure and install laptops, desktops from suppliers and hand-held devices (using the Blackberry Enterprise Server).- Supporting store staff when encountering problems with the in-house developed EPOS system, using payment devices and other instore equipment.- Monitoring and carrying out maintenance on store tills using polling software and remote accessing tools such as VNC, RDP and LogMeIn Rescue.- Taking part in the out-of-hours rota for supporting head office users and stores around the world.
