Investbay is a new vehicle helping to democratize real estate ownership. The on-line platform allows smaller (retail) investors to invest, securely and safely, directly into real estate investment opportunities from across Europe (initially), that they can choose themselves from our platform. Investors can invest from as little as EUR 500 and, critically, still retain quick access to their funds. The platform aims to build an expanding community of investors through education and other initiatives and work with that community to help these investors access the lucrative real estate market and build wealth.My key responsibilities include strategic direction and advisory, business plan preparation, fund-raising, asset selection, acquisitions and over-seeing asset management.

Responsible for both buy and sell side mandates across all key sectors - offices, industrial and retail in Czech & Slovakia. Marketed and sold the iconic business & technology park “Technology Park Brno”, The Grade A rokered and worked on the largest office transaction in Slovakia in 2015 - the acquisition of the 20,000m2 prime office building in Bratislava, "The Forum", fully leased to T-Com

Responsible for running an office with a particular focus on; buy and sell side investment mandates including valuations and due diligence, acquisitions for occupiers, development consultancy and land sales and property/asset management. Built and ran a profitable office for each of the 7 years including the first year of operation and won the prestigious ,Client-Voted, Cij Award "Best International Real Estate Agency in Slovakia" for 6 of the 7 years under my management. Examples of recent successes/mandates included; Sale of 15,000m2 Shopping Centre (Korso) Prievidza to private investor, Sale of a 28,000m2 prime shopping centre "Aupark Zilina" on behalf of HB Reavis to NEPI, a then new investor to Slovakia, introduction and acquisition of a 20,000m2 Grade A office building for a Czech fund, the marketing and sale of 4ha of land in the city centre, the marketing and successful leasing of 7000m2 at Apollo 1 on behalf of Hannover Leasing, development and leasing consultancy for Reico for an office building in Slovakia, acquisition of the exclusive mandate for the selection of a new site for the US Embassy and the negotiation and re-location on behalf of an 8,000sqm+ occupier, Mondelez, within Bratislava. Also responsible for the research of the Austrian market and the identification, interviewing and recommendation for a new Associate Office in Austria which was accepted by the Board.

Lead the Office agency team to a No.1 position in the office leasing and tenant representation market from a No.5 position within 5 years. In 2007, I prepared the paper for the UK Board to recommend setting up a new C&W Office in Slovakia in 2007. I was asked and subsequently lead the full set-up, including the acquisition and negotiation of a new HQ Office and suppliers. I also recruited and subsequently managed the growth and development of the team.
