I'm a CG texture/surfacing artist working in CG industry over 15 years. Mainly response for texture painting, UV and digital sculpting, and understand a little modeling. Working on the project of high-end feature film or Animation is always my goal to achieve it, especially work in the worldwide top VFX or Animation.I have studied Fine Art since I was kid for more ten years, including pencil drawing, water color, oil painting, etc. Learning fine art develops me good sensitivity and concept for Arts and also establish solid skill of painting.Movie always inspires me a lot. When I am watching movies with cool VFX or Animation, I always wonder how they create the world or creatures doesn’t even exist. After I realized they used 3d program to make it happened, it makes me to start my 3D journey. After I finished my animation course, I went to be an internship in art department of Huhus studio for 6 month in 2008. Then I became a contractor, worked as a digital artist for one year. Primary job is painting sky, paint over background, concept art for props, story coloring.I went back to Taiwan after Huhus. I started to work in Digimax Studio as a concept artist and sky matte painter for a year.In late 2010, I went to New Zealand again, worked in Oktobor Animation as a texture artist for two years. My job is texture & UVs of some props and sets for several TV Series of Nickelodeon.After that, I went back to Taiwan, working in a VFX studio called BiggerPicture. I worked as mid-level texture artist and had finished a feature film “THE ARTI:The Adventure Begins” in 2015, then I was working on the TV Series “Thunderbolt Fantasy”.After that, I joined Base-Fx as a texture artist. In Base-Fx, I started to participate some project of worldwide class movie as Avengers: Infinity War , Aquaman. It made me eye opened and have more experience to produce photoreal texture in feature film, even they are not major asset, still makes me had huge improvement for it .
