Andy first entered the industry in his late teens where he accepted a job as brokerage assistant at William J. Haverly and Associates in Glendale, California. Here, he received a fast-paced, on-the-job education in real estate. He worked his way up through the ranks, eventually becoming a mortgage loan officer and a real estate agent. Though he stumbled upon real estate early on, Andy has found the career to be a perfect fit. “I like helping people,” he says. “And I’m the kind of person who gets things done.” He’s also a shrewd professional who recognizes a good opportunity and sticks with it. Andy stayed with Haverly and Associates until the owner’s very recent retirement, which left Andy with two choices. He could get his own broker license, or he could put his real estate license with a new broker. Having spent the last decade loyally working with a broker he admired, Andy’s standards were understandably high. Of course, it wasn’t just the tech platform that appealed to Andy. As an agent who already serves communities in multiple states, he wanted to find a broker that would enable him to continue doing business beyond the borders of California. When he learned that Movoto was not only tech-forward but also licensed in 50 states, he was sold. Andy has invested well over a decade in the real estate industry, and his ongoing commitment to this industry is clear. He is currently on the National Association of Realtors and is a member of the Beverly Hills Greater L.A. Association of Realtors. And now, as the newest member of the Movoto team, he looks forward to serving even more clients in Los Angeles and beyond

Achievements:• Managed bids from initial contract discussion to bid approval date for over 1,000+ sales contracts and supported agents with review.• Simultaneously managed HR tasks, process management, sales agent recruits, projects, consulted clients, organized and supported teams.• Supported all levels of the business (new hires to executive team) with communication and coordination for onboarding, current, and future real estate sales projects.• Introduced new systems that delivered continuous quality improvement and process to the brokerage.• Implemented sales and underwriting processes that developed experiences for existing sales agents, IT, administration, and future sales agents.Duties:• Gathered project business requirements, culture fit, and compensation budget to help with negotiations, offer letters, work authorization/immigration agreements, credit reports and contracts.• Consulted sales agents rolling-off projects, helped them transition, and interview for new sales opportunities and regions within our internal client space.• Directly worked with the marketing and operations team on brand and market development by developing content, implementing best practices and trends.• Attended real estate and mortgage, marketing, networking, conferences, and events within the greater Los Angeles area.

Achievements:• Provided support to the Underwriting/Endorsement department and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development by providing quality assurance using the Desktop Underwriter legacy system.• Managed private customer data from credit unions to provide the managing team monthly statistical data reports for future sales.• Monitored credit and home insurance fraud cases and reviewed with the administration team.Duties:• Managed over 2,000+ nationwide real estate contracts, mortgage policies, and insurance risks weekly by executing company regulations and compliance by following the National Association of realtor’s state statutes, the Greater L.A. Association of realtors, and city guidelines.
