• Co-designed the initial firmware architecture for a H.264 camcorder system based on an ARM9 CPU, including a component diagram, data flow diagram, and state machine diagram using UML as well as defining a number of software APIs for device drivers.• Migration of a boot loader (U-Boot) that was developed under a GNU environment to a non-GNU environment (ARM RealView Debugger).• Participated in porting the uITRON 4.0-compliant Real-Time OS onto the designated platform.Complete USB device protocol stack, SD host controller, and the file system layer driver porting.• Co-worked with the hardware IC designers for various FPGA verifications, IPs including 2D DMA accelerator, On Screen Display (OSD), PWM, GPIO, and HW-assisted image processor (copying, flipping, rotating, enlarging)
